Ayodhya, July 4 -- A section of Hindu saints on Saturday came out in support of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai amid the controversy over the alleged theft of Ram Temple offerings (Chadawaha), urging that no one be blamed before the completion of an investigation.
The support comes after widespread criticism over allegations related to the handling of offerings made at the Ram Temple.
The saints held a meeting at the Hazara Temple on Saturday and called for a fair and transparent investigation into the allegations but said it would be inappropriate to hold anyone responsible before the inquiry is completed.
