Lucknow/Saharanpur, May 11 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) National President Mayawati on Monday expressed concern over the violent clash in Lalwala village of Saharanpur district.
She said that several Dalits were injured in the incident, which has created tension in the area.
In a social media post on Sunday, the BSP chief stated that the dispute initially "arose between two groups over the placement of a statue on village land," which later escalated into a violent clash. She alleged that several members of the Dalit community were injured in the incident.
