Tianjin, Sept. 1 -- In a subtle jab at Western economic bodies, Kirill Dmitriev, Russian President Vladimir Putin's aide on international economic affairs, commented that what sets SCO apart from Western forums is its genuine spirit of cooperation, with "no one bothering anyone", reports RT.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Summit, which started on August 31 in the Chinese city of Tianjin, brought together more than 20 members and partner nations.

In particular, the forum saw the Indian and Chinese leaders meeting in the wake of improved bilateral relations and US President Donald Trump's sweeping economic tariffs, which has been a thorn for both the economic powerhouses.
