Patna, April 10 -- In a major push to improve rural connectivity, the Bihar government has initiated large-scale widening of rural roads under the Saat Nischay-3 programme.
Official sources said here today that the move is aimed at making rural transportation smoother, safer and more efficient across the state.
The initiative, led by the Rural Works Department focuses on widening narrow rural roads in a phased manner to ease increasing traffic pressure. It also seeks to connect remote areas with durable and long-term road infrastructure, thereby strengthening Bihar's agriculture-driven rural economy.
