Imphal, June 29 -- Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur in charge of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Nemcha Kipgen, participated in the Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Sammelan 2026, organised by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, in New Delhi.
Describing rural India as the soul of the nation, the Deputy Chief Minister underscored the pivotal role of Gram Sabhas, Gram Panchayats, farmers, rural households, women and youth in building an inclusive and self-reliant India.
