Chennai, Sept. 10 -- V.S.Babu, the ruling TVK MLA, who had defeated former CM and DMK President M K Stalin in the Kolathur Assembly seat in the recent polls, was admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) of a private hospital in the city due to breathing problems.
A health bulletin issued by MGM Healthcare, where he was admitted, on Thursday said Babu was admitted yesterday evening with a respiratory ailment.
He is currently undernthe care of a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in the CCU. He is receiving suitable medical management and respiratory support as clinically indicted.
His condition is presently stable with supportive care. He continues to remain under close monitoring and medical supervision, it said.
