Chennai, March 28 -- The ruling DMK eyeing for a second successive term to form the Dravidian Model 2.0 government on Saturday unveiled its list of 164 candidates list for the four-cornered April 23 high-stakes Assesmbly elections, retaining 28 of the 34 Ministers, sans six Ministers and also gave tickets to several of the sitting members and more than new faces.
The list comprised a mix of graduates, doctors, advocates, sitting MLAs and former ousted AIADMK leaders who had defected to the DMK.
The Ministers who were not given tickets were K Ponmudy, who opted out of the contest, R Gandh and incudedi, Ms Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, S M Nasser and Mano Thangaraj.
