Washington, July 19 -- U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will depart for Manila, Philippines, on July 19 and will stay there till July 23 to join a series of high-level diplomatic meetings hosted by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the U.S. State Department said.
Rubio is scheduled to participate in the ASEAN Post-Ministerial Conference with the United States, the East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the ASEAN Regional Forum Foreign Ministers' Meeting. He will also meet with senior government officials from Indo-Pacific countries as Washington seeks to strengthen regional cooperation and partnerships.
