Nagpur, Aug. 26 -- Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) will soon build a landmark Tribal History Museum, showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Maharashtra's tribal communities.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has sanctioned the project at a cost of Rs 44.70 crore, of which Rs 37.57 crore is earmarked for construction. The museum is expected to be completed within nine months, including the monsoon period.

Spread across a three-storey RCC building of nearly 40,000 sq. ft., the facility will feature exhibition halls, digital display galleries, seminar and research rooms, an auditorium, archival storage, landscaped gardens, parking and barrier-free access.
