Lucknow, May 27 -- Buoyed by the BJP's recent success in the West Bengal polls, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has launched an extensive cadre mobilisation drive in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat using his Lucknow visit to strengthen support for the Yogi Adityanath government's third term in the state.
Bhagwat was in Lucknow for the past three days to energise Sangh workers and reinforce the ideology of Hindutva and nationalism. However, during this visit, he did not meet any BJP leaders.This was Bhagwat's second visit to Lucknow since February.
