Srinagar, Oct. 21 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader and Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Pramukh Ram Lal on Wednesday hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks alleging that the Sangh considers women subordinate to men and denies them equal rights, accusing him of spreading misinformation about the organisation.
Responding to a question from reporters in Srinagar, Ram Lal said the RSS generally refrains from commenting on political issues and leaders but maintained that the organisation had faced allegations and what he described as falsehoods for years.
