Puttur, Oct. 20 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today clarified that the controversial circular from the Education Department was generic and merely following precedent, not aimed at any specific organisation, specifically RSS.
Speaking at an event here, Siddaramaiah said, "The circular we issued was not directed at any particular organisation; we stated 'any organisation,' and did not mention the RSS. We simply reiterated what was done then." By stressing this, the Chief Minister positioned his administration as following bureaucratic continuity rather than initiating any controversy.
