Kochi, Aug. 9 -- As part of the centenary celebrations of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), youth gatherings will be organised in the southern Kerala province on August 14, 15 and 16.
The programmes, to be held at Sangh district centres, are expected to bring together thousands of young people.
The gatherings will feature patriotic song recitals, community singing of Vande Mataram, a social dance presentation based on Vande Mataram, a message on Akhand Bharat and Bharat Mata Puja, among other programmes.
As part of the build-up to the youth gatherings, Tiranga rallies and bike rallies will be held at taluk centres from August 9 onwards. The national flag will be hoisted at houses across the state on August 11, observed as the martyr...
