Jhansi, July 24 -- Uttar Pradesh Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K. Sharma on Friday inaugurated the Gursarai Municipal Council and Garautha Nagar Panchayat Joint Reorganized Drinking Water Scheme in Jhansi district, constructed at a cost of Rs 83.24 crore.
He said that this project will provide regular access to pure drinking water to approximately 7,740 households in the Gursarai and Garautha areas.
Sharma said that this scheme is not limited to providing drinking water alone, but is an important public welfare project that will improve the health and living standards of thousands of families.
