Dhanbad, July 11 -- The Dhanbad police has reported significant achievements in June 2025 by disposing of 1,167 pending cases, executing 2,600 warrants and collecting Rs 63 lakh in fines for traffic violations, marking a record monthly performance.
The data was presented during a monthly crime review meeting chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar. The SSP stated that the disposal of 1,167 pending cases brought down the district's backlog from 4102 to 3,613. A target has been set to reduce this number to below 3,000 by the August-end.
