Dharamshala, March 13 -- Himachal Pradesh Ayush, Youth Services and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma on Thursday said that the state government is committed to providing drinking water to residents of the Panchrukhi area through the under-construction Rs 320 million drinking water scheme for the Palam region.
Addressing an Ayush fair in Bandu Bharwana near Panchrukhi as the chief guest, the minister said that water from the project would be extended to the Bandu Bharwana area, ensuring better drinking water facilities for the local population.
Goma said that earlier the people of the area had to depend on water supply schemes of the Palampur region, but soon they would have their own dedicated drinking water project.
