Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 15 -- The Kerala Government has sanctioned Rs 25.64 crore as immediate relief to 25,648 families in Pathanamthitta district whose houses were damaged after floodwaters entered their homes.
Each affected family will receive Rs 10,000 to help restore the house and make it habitable, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office here on Tuesday.
The total amount has been sanctioned from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF).
