Lucknow, April 25 -- union Minister Ramdas Athawale-led Republican Party of India (Athawale) has increased its focus on the Dalit vote bank to strengthen its political base in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2027 assembly polls.

The party will showcase its strength with a large rally in Lucknow on Constitution Day, November 26. The target is to mobilize one lakh workers.

Athawale stated here on Saturday that the party has established organizations in 62 districts and will now play a role in the assembly elections in collaboration with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
