Ranchi, Feb. 25 -- The Railway Protection Force of the Ranchi Rail Division seized 16 kg of ganja from Ranchi and Hatia railway stations during separate checking drives under Operation Narcos.
The operation was conducted under the direction of Commandant Pawan Kumar. A special checking drive was carried out at Ranchi Railway Station during the arrival of Train No 18309 Express.
RPF personnel inspected Coach S 7 and found a suspicious blue backpack with a passenger seated on berth number 04. The passenger identified himself as Mohan Singh, 41, a resident of Sundargarh in Odisha.
A search of his bag led to the recovery of ganja wrapped in plastic.
