Hyderabad, June 12 -- The Railway Protection Force (RPF), South Central Railway (SCR), rescued 512 children under 'Operation Nanhe Farishte' between January and May 2026, reaffirming its commitment to protecting vulnerable children across the railway network.
The rescued children, comprising 421 boys and 91 girls found in distress or vulnerable circumstances at railway stations and aboard trains, were safely handed over to Child Welfare Committees for care, counselling and rehabilitation.
