Chennai, Jan. 12 -- A notorious rowdy was brutally hacked to death inside the Government Kilpauk Medical Collegeand Hospital in Chennai early on Monday, sending shock waves among patients and staff at the premises, frequentedby tens and hundreds of patients and attendants for IP and OP treatments.
The deceased criminal has been identified as Aadhi of Rajamangalam, who came to the hospital to meet a relativeundergoing treatment, police said.
According to police, a group of masked assailants wearing helmets entered the hospital premises and brutally attackedAadhi with sharp weapons, inflicting multiple severe injuries on his head, arms and legs. He bled to death on the spot.
