Bhubaneswar, Aug. 5 -- Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has registered record production across several key units during the April-July period of the current financial year, while also delivering outstanding performances in July 2026.
According to RSP sources, Hot Strip Mill-2 (HSM-2) recorded its highest-ever monthly rolling of Hot Rolled (HR) Coils in July, while the Sheet Shearing Line achieved its best-ever monthly production of HR plates.
During the April-July 2026 period, Sinter Plant-1 produced 5,11,262 tonnes of sinter, taking the plant's cumulative sinter production to 24,02,453 tonnes-the highest-ever output for the period.
