Pune, Nov. 5 -- NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar has taken the responsibility of completing the farmer outreach tour of party president Sharad Pawar, which had to be cut short due to the latter's health concerns.
Rohit Pawar said he would set aside his own Diwali celebrations and spend the festival with farmers and agricultural labourers by visiting their homes.
Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune after complaining of a persistent cough and chest pain.
He was discharged following two days of treatment but was admitted to the hospital again later at night for further medical evaluation.
