Dharashiv, Sept. 20 -- NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MLA Rohit Pawar on Sunday launched a broad attack on the Maharashtra government, raising questions over the investigation into the death of Ajit Pawar, the delay in declaring drought and the implementation of the farm loan waiver scheme.
Pawar said he would soon make a detailed presentation on the circumstances surrounding Ajit Pawar's death.
He questioned why the investigation had not been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), despite Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar having sought a CBI probe. He also alleged that the ruling establishment was attempting to suppress the matter.
