Nagpur, Sept. 15 -- NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) MLA Rohit Pawar on Tuesday came out in support of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray in connection with the Disha Salian death case, alleging that the renewed probe in the matter was politically motivated.
Speaking to reporters in Nagpur, Pawar said Aaditya Thackeray had faced scrutiny in previous investigations linked to the case and had been cleared, expressing confidence that the ongoing probe would also establish the facts.
He maintained that there was no evidence linking Thackeray to the allegations and accused political opponents of attempting to derive electoral advantage from the issue.
