New Delhi, Jan. 25 -- To take forward the government's mission to turn 'waste into wealth', the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), a government research institution, has partnered with Jindal South West (JSW) Steel Limited, Salem Works, to make use of 'slag', a waste generated in steel production.

The industrial waste will be used for constructing durable and eco-friendly roads in Tamil Nadu, according to an official announcement by the Ministry of Science and Technology on Sunday.
