New Delhi, July 18 -- The new Super Speciality (SS) Block at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences (ABVIMS) and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital is set to begin operations soon, with the facility awaiting its final statutory fire safety clearance before launching the first phase of patient services, Health Ministry sources said on Saturday.
Hospital officials said the fire clearance process is in its final stages, with all major infrastructure and regulatory requirements having been completed. The building had received fire approval during the planning and construction stage in 2022, but a separate occupancy clearance is mandatory after construction before patient services can begin.
