Patna, July 16 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) today termed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's announcement to conduct Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE)-4 as an electoral gimmick.
RJD Spokesperson Chitranjan Gagan here alleged that despite being aware, the Chief Minister was asking for vacancy data from the Education Department. He said over three lakh teaching positions were vacant in Bihar.
The RJD leader said if the Chief Minister was genuinely serious about recruitment, he must immediately issue a notification for hiring with a proper domicile clause and begin the recruitment process at the same speed as it was done during the Grand Alliance government.
