Patna, Sept. 24 -- Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) state spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed expressed concern over the law-and-order situation in Bihar following recent incidents in Jamui and Samastipur, saying that such incidents have raised questions about the functioning of the government and administration.
Ahmed said the government should ensure swift and impartial action against those responsible for the incidents.
He said that after any criminal incident, the government's priority should be to identify those responsible and take legal action against them.
He alleged that, at times, statements are made by people in the government that divert attention from the core issue and reduce the seriousness of the matter.
