Patna, July 17 -- Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, Tejashwi Yadav, today accused election authorities of systematically excluding voters from the marginalised communities, including the poor, backward classes, minorities, and especially Yadavs, during the ongoing revision of the electoral rolls ahead of the assembly elections.
While talking to the media, Yadav alleged that the revision exercise was being used as a tool to disenfranchise vulnerable groups. "Entire localities dominated by these communities were being ignored. Even Booth Level Officers (BLOs) do not visit these areas for voter list verification," he claimed.
