Kolkata, Oct. 26 -- Democratic Trinamool Congress leader Ritabrata Bandyopadhyay alleged that a truck carrying affidavits and supporting documents to Delhi for submission to the Election Commission of India (ECI) was attacked near the Haryana border, with miscreants attempting to seize the vehicle and snatch the documents, accusing the Mamata Banerjee-led Kalighat faction of being behind the incident.
Ritabrata claimed on Monday that while the Kalighat faction had sent its affidavits to Delhi by chartered flight on Sunday evening, his camp had to transport its documents by road because of financial constraints.
