Hingoli, May 7 -- The impact of rising temperatures is now being felt not only on orchards but also on vegetable crops across the Marathwada region, including Hingoli district.

A farmer from Navalgavhan village in Hingoli has suffered major losses in his cabbage crop due to extreme heat conditions this summer.

Farmer Jagan Korde had cultivated cabbage on half an acre in January, hoping to earn good profits during the summer season when market prices usually remain high. However, the sharp increase in temperature this year has severely damaged the crop.
