Rich tributes paid to former PM VP Singh on his birth anniv

Chennai, June 25 -- Rich tributes were paid to former Prime Minister and saviour of social justice V P Singh on his 96th birth anniversary on Thrusday.

Tamil Nadu Ministers and officials garlanded his statue and paid floral tributes to his portrait at the Presidency College premises in the city.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, DMK President M K Stalin and Leaders of various parties also paid rich tributes to him.

In his message, Vijay paid tributes to the former Prime Minister and hailed him as a leader who upheld simplicity, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to his principles throughout his political life.
