Hyderabad, July 13 -- National Scheduled Castes Commission (NCSC) Chairperson Kishore Makwana on Monday called on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at Praja Bhavan, where the state government briefed the Commission on various initiatives being implemented for the welfare and empowerment of Scheduled Castes.
The meeting was attended by Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, Government Advisor Shabbir Ali, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, Director General of Police C.V. Anand, members of the National SC Commission and senior state government officials.
During the meeting, officials presented measures taken by the government for the development of SC communities across the state.
