Hyderabad, Aug. 17 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday evening inaugurated the Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) at Sanathnagar, describing the super-specialty hospital as a major step towards strengthening government healthcare and providing quality medical treatment to the poor.

Speaking at the inauguration, Revanth Reddy said his government had accorded top priority to healthcare and education.

He said the Sanathnagar TIMS would provide specialised treatment in cardiac care, renal care and organ transplantation, benefiting poor and needy patients across Telangana.
