Hyderabad, April 14 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday paid rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar on his 135th birth anniversary, stating that Ambedkar's vision continues to guide democratic governance and social transformation in the country.
Speaking after garlanding Dr Ambedkar's statue at Lower Tank Bund, the Chief Minister said while Mahatma Gandhi demonstrated that wars could be won through non-violence, Ambedkar showed the world how a nation could be governed as a model for others.
He described Gandhi and Ambedkar as the "two eyes of the nation" and said the latter's ideals are now being followed globally.
