Visakhapatnam, March 13 -- Penumatsa Sai Baba Raju (64), a retired Deputy General Manager of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, has demonstrated his commitment to social service by donating blood for the twenty-second time.
Responding to an urgent request for O-positive blood, Raju donated at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Visakhapatnam, on Friday to support a patient from Rayagada district in Odisha who is undergoing treatment there.
Even after his retirement, Raju continues to actively serve society through the Ukkunagaram Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, where he participates as a Sevadal member.
He is also regularly involved in Narayana Seva, organised every Sunday, providing food and support to the needy.
