New Delhi, July 21 -- Fresh from ending a nearly two-year title drought with a commanding triumph at the Japan Open, two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will look to make it back-to-back BWF titles when she spearheads India's campaign at the China Open Super 1000 badminton tournament.

Sindhu, who begins her campaign tomorrow, produced one of her finest performances in recent years last week, defeating three-time world champion Akane Yamaguchi in straight games to clinch the Japan Open crown without dropping a single game throughout the tournament.

The victory marked a significant turnaround for the former world champion and restored confidence ahead of another elite-level event.
