Kochi, Sept. 25 -- A traditional Kerala ancestral home or 'Taravadu' recreated at the entrance of the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) has emerged as a major attraction for delegates, offering an immersive experience of the State's rich cultural heritage.
The pavilion, arranged by the Responsible Tourism Mission Society, combines traditional Kerala architecture, indigenous art forms and interactive experiences, drawing visitors from India and abroad.
A massive Theyyam face, measuring 10 feet in height and seven feet in width, welcomes visitors to the pavilion. The traditional ambience is enhanced by the resonant notes of the Idakka drum and displays of Kathakali costumes, ornaments and facial makeup, including chuttikuthu.
