Raipur, Sept. 23 -- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Teej Milan ceremony organised at the residence of Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma today and extended his greetings.
He said women hold a special place in Chhattisgarh's culture, traditions and social life, and their respect, safety and economic empowerment are among the State Government's highest priorities, with the government considering them equal partners in building a developed Chhattisgarh rather than merely beneficiaries of welfare schemes.
