Kathmandu, Sept. 14 -- Rescue teams are struggling to reach six workers feared trapped inside the Chilime Hydropower Company in Nepal's Rasuwa district, where floods and landslides have destroyed much of the road network.
A total of 102 people, including 35 personnel from the Nepali and Indian armies and other technical specialists, have been mobilised for the rescue operation.
Only about 13 km of the road from district headquarters Dhunche towards Syabrubesi remains intact. Beyond the 12th hairpin bend, entire settlements and sections of the road have been destroyed, making the journey dangerous even on foot.
