Nagpur, Jan. 26 -- The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Monday marked the 77th Republic Day with the unfurling of the national flag at its headquarters in Mahal area of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
The tricolour was unfurled by RSS leader Rajesh Loya, who serves as the Nagpur Mahanagar Sanghchalak.
Several RSS volunteers and pracharaks were present during the event.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat did not attend the event as he is currently in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, where he is scheduled to take part in Republic Day celebrations.
On the occasion, the Sangh also organised a separate programme at the Dr Hedgewar Smruti Mandir in the Reshimbagh area, where Akhil Bharatiya Seva Pramukh Parag Abhyankar unfurled the national flag.
