Dimapur, Sept. 14 -- Alleging poor workmanship, prolonged delays and inadequate maintenance, the Naga Students' Federation (NSF) has urged the Center and the Nagaland government to terminate NHIDCL as the implementing agency for the Dimapur-Kohimastretch of NH-29 and entrust the project to either the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) or the state PWD (National Highways).
The federation, in a release dated September 13, pointed out that the commuters face life-threatening situations, particularly during the monsoon and at night along the highway.
