Kangra, Sept. 10 -- Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur today said that the Himachal Pradesh government should prioritize relief measures for disaster-affected people instead of indulging in political rhetoric.

Addressing a press conference in Nurpur along with BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal, Thakur said that sufficient time had already been lost while people across the state continued to suffer. "The resources of the state have been severly damaged. In such a situation, the government should work on providing permanent relief and not make political statements," he said.
