Mumbai, Oct. 22 -- Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has officially announced that its mega renewable energy project in Kutch, Gujarat, will begin solar power generation during the first half of fiscal year 2026-27 (H1 FY27). The company revealed that project work across the expansive 550,000-acre site, an area which is nearly three times the size of Singapore, has made significant progress, citing its Q2 FY26 results presentation.
According to the company, engineering and feasibility studies for the Kutch mega project have been completed and land development activities are underway.
