New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- A dispute that began over a matchbox to light a cigarette turned fatal in northwest Delhi, leaving a 30-year-old man dead and another injured in a stabbing incident, police said on Wednesday.
The incident took place on Tuesday outside a government wine shop in Keshav Puram, where the victims, Bhawani and Asha Ram, reportedly got into an argument with three men after being asked for a matchbox.
According to police, the victims said they did not have one, following which an argument broke out. The accused allegedly assaulted the two men with fists before one of them attacked them with a knife, a senior police officer said.
Bhawani was taken to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Polic...
