Chennai, Oct. 27 -- In a Red Alert messages, the IMD on Tuesday said the Severe Cyclonic Storm over the bay intensifieed into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm and will cross the Andhra Pradesh coast by forenoon of tomorrow, wilth gusty winds with speed touching 140 kmph.
In its latest National Bulletin, it said the very severe cyclonic storm "Arnab" (Pronunciation :Ornab) over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal moved nearly westwards with a speed of 22 kmph during the past six hours, and lay centered at 0530 hrs today over the same region.
It now lay centred about 260 km southeast of Vishakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), 300 km east-southeast of Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), 380 km south of Gopalpur (Odisha), 390 km east of Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh),...
