Tirumala, June 16 -- A record 51.38 lakh devotees availed the free luggage deposit and delivery services provided by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) during April and May 2026, reflecting the growing reliance of pilgrims on the facility during their visit to Tirumala.
According to TTD, a total of 51,38,976 devotees deposited their luggage, bags and mobile phones at its counters across Tirumala and along the footpath routes during the two-month period.
In April 2026, the service was utilized by 23,15,279 devotees compared to 20,75,481 in April 2025, registering an increase of 2,39,798. In May 2026, the number rose to 28,23,697 from 23,82,622 in May 2025, an increase of 4,41,075 devotees.
