Mumbai, June 19 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Omraje Nimbalkar, one of the MPs spearheading efforts to form a separate group and reportedly preparing to join the Shinde-led Shiv Sena, has defended his decision, saying that "while leaving the party may be emotionally painful, it is politically necessary".
Speaking about the move, Nimbalkar on Friday said he was facing a major dilemma. "From an emotional perspective, the decision feels wrong, but from a political standpoint, it is the right one," he remarked, highlighting the challenges he has faced in sustaining his political relevance and delivering development work in his constituency.
