Raipur, May 13 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and elected to field against Kolkata Knight Riders in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 clash after rain and a wet outfield delayed the start at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium here today evening.

The 57th match of the tournament will begin at 8.45 pm IST as a full 20-overs-a-side contest, with the toss taking place at 8.30 pm following multiple inspections and extensive work by the ground staff to clear moisture from the outfield after earlier showers.

RCB captain Rajat Patidar said the side opted to bowl first expecting conditions similar to the previous match at the venue.
